whatever happened with your saddle issues??  Did you ever get anything resolved?  I still have the watson saddle but I'm looking into something else.  I just need to wait til I get some $$$$.  I'm looking at the crestridge ones.
My watson also doesn't seem to feel seated on the horse.  I should probably just use my old bob marshall until I can get another one.

He's getting too much sugar and you really have to watch that.  Some horses never have issues but some will become insulin resistant and then you really have problems.
pastures are only supposed to be used early in the morning til the sun comes out and starts heating things up and then off they should go.  Sugar content is at it's highest afternoon and evening.  And  night time temps need to be at least 40 degrees.
I found out the hard way -- lost a horse due to these issues but at the time we didn't know any better.  So, either dry lot during the afternoon and nighttime or muzzle.

I have a 9 year old MPH mare who has a sarcoid on the outside of her ear.  I've only had her a couple months.  I'm friends with the seller and she told me that if I don't want her for whatever reason,  she will buy her back.  Not that I would get rid of her over a sarcoid -- it just depends on the outcome with this.
She's already a bit of a project.  Needs time on the trails - she's not used to them.  but she's level headed.
When she came here,  the lump looked like a harmless wart like my old mare has which hasn't changed in over 20 years.  But this thing has GROWN now - outward.  Had the vet out about a month ago to do her teeth and at that time he said, "yes, sarcoid and we can clip it off and freeze it."  He acted like -- no big deal.  No guarantee it won't come back.
But I'm horrified that it is growing so fast.  And then i research the internet and read the horror stories where people have done just that - surgically had them removed along with freezing and things went from bad to worse.  Grew back 100 times worse and very aggressive.  One horse lost an ear!
So, anyone have any experience with these things??  Good/bad outcomes....
I'm getting another opinion on it as soon as this vet calls me back.

LOL -- just a pig.  Smiley   I have a mare that does the same thing. She will actually come from outside, go in her stall to pee!!
My other mare is the opposite and will NOT let anyone else in her stall.  I have a three stall barn where the doors are always open.  They come and go as they please.  But this other mare will leave the stall and go to the "bathroom" area which is a walk away.  VERY clean mare.
I want to hire her to keep my house Smiley

yeah, I'd have her teeth checked for sure and if all checks out - time and patience.  What kind of bit are you using on her?  She may be having issues with that.  I have a young Arab who only likes french link snaffles.  I switched her over to a bit of a shank bit that was a single jointed snaffle.  After about the second ride in it (which she did fine on the ride),  she FOUGHT me like mad about taking the bit or having the bridle on too.  I fought with her each ride for about a week.  It just got worse.  I decided to go back to the french link and at first she fought but I got it on and the bit in and we went for a ride.  Next time,  NO fighting at all,  she opened her mouth happily.  She told me what for!!

We have a Dixieland and love it.  I'm thinking about ordering a second one for our other horse.  Comfey, and I feel very secure in it.

Oh she can on her own!!!! We turn her out and she can fly! LOL! It's just hard to get her to when I'm on her, I can but it's hard! When I speed her up, she'll just gate real fast, but sometimes, I can get a lope/gallop out of her! I guess I'll just have to keep trying!

Did the previous owners tell you she could lope/gallop? Do you see her cantering when she is turned out? What does she do when you try to speed her up? Show horses aren't always cantered, some classes are walk/gait only.

Not all gaited horses can canter. Mine can't, he's now 7 years old and I've had several trainers work with him, including a dressage trainer to work on his canter. He still can't do it under saddle and has trouble cantering on his own when turned out. If your horse can canter on her own, then maybe she can under saddle. Otherwise, you'll have to accept that she will only walk or gait.
